SMT Continues Collaboration with ADNA Biosciences on Anti-Aging Product Development

Dr. Yin-xiong Li, immediate past VP/Chief Technology Officer for SMT, announced breakthroughs in adult stem cell therapies that promise a major advances in anti-aging, organ regeneration, and prevention of alcohol related diseases.  Expanding on leading edge research he conducted while a professor at Duke University, Dr. Li’s patent-pending  “Adult Stem Cell Nutrition” regime has been shown to positively affect (rejuvenate) the skin, liver, brain neurons, pancreas, and the GI tract (digestion).    SMT is currently with working with Dr. Li’s American company, ADNA Biosciences, to produce stem cell nutrients and make them available to consumers in the United States.

Dr. Li also has developed nutritional supplements to improve metabolism and detoxify the body at the cellular level:

Obesolution can provide significant body weight loss in four weeks by blocking the absorption of fat and cholesterol from the diet in the small intestine.  This herbal supplement also lowers blood pressure.

Wellbeing maintains the fat loss function of Obesolution and is used as a daily supplement.  It also detoxifies the body by eliminating the ammonia metabolites that reside as waste in tissues and strengthens the muscle and bone tissues.  The product is used until the body finds its desired weight, which for most people would be one month.

SMT is working with Dr. Li to make these Chinese herbal supplements available to consumers in the United States.

Former CTO Explores Co-development Opportunities in China

Anthony A. Gedeon, SMT Inc. CEO, announced that Dr. Yin-Xiong Li who served as Staff Vice President for Research and Chief Technology Officer from July 1, 2010 to May 30, 2011 accepted a research position in his home county.  “Dr. Li presided over our R&D activities and business planning in the areas of stem cell research, “near real time” and “real time” microbial detection and classification, and nosocomial infection control strategies.”

Dr. Li still holds a seat on both SMT’s Business and Science Advisory Boards.  Mr. Gedeon also said, “Dr. Li is a truly amazing resource, and we are pleased that he is still an advisor.  Our company would also be pleased to have the opportunity to potentially license current technologies, and potentially co-develop our new technologies in China.”

SMT CEO Meets with AWPA Working Group

Tony Gedeon, SMT CEO, was invited to address a working group of the American Wood Preservers Association (AWPA) on May 15, 20011.  Academia and government agencies are investigating “salt kill” as a mechanism of attack of treated wood, especially in marine environments.  The AWPA was interested in finding new technologies to prevent or slow the process of salt-laden water from soaking into treated wood, evaporating, and leaving salt crystals that shred the wood.  Bioxxn(tm) Wood Sealant is a superior treatment to paints because it penetrates into the wood  before cross-lining into a ceramic polymer impervious to UV, heat, and chemical attack.  After the meeting, one of the leading wood preserver companies contacted SMT to explore means of employing Bioxxn(tm) Wood Sealant technology not only as as a supplemental treatment where salt kill is a concern, but as a potential pressure treatment.
